Foreign low-cost airline is urgently looking for a

Chief Pilot

Responsibilities:

Ensuring the overall safety, control and administration of the operations of the company aircraft, either in the air or on the ground.

Ensure the timely availability of properly trained and qualified crew.

The motivation of all Flight Services staff to achieve the aims of the airline whilst taking account of their welfare and opinions.

The maintenance of all crew records with regard to duration of duty periods and flight times

Prepare amendments for the applicable MELs and OM parts A, B and C in behalf of the accountable manager.

Ensure correct accident reporting and maintain procedures for notifying the required (local) authorities.

Determine the airline\'s flight safety policy

Ensure that deviations from Company standards, incidents and accidents are recorded analysed and reported and that corrective action is taken as required.

Monitoring all Health and Safety matters affecting the operation and taking action to address any issues arising.

In conjunction with the VP Human Resources, and the Deputy Chief Pilot, liaise with all flight services staff on working practices and terms of service affecting those staff.

Ensure airline\'s representation in relevant industry bodies.

To approve /disapprove new routes and to determine the airport category

Establish airport and crew operating minima for airline\'s operations.
